[Event Report] 10th Anniversary Offsite Meeting

26th Nov 2025

Hi, I’m Haruhi at Alamport Inc.

Today I would like to share about offsite meeting held in Japan in October 2025 and the celebration of Alamport’s 10th anniversary.  Alamport was established in 2nd of March 2015.

Our first offsite meeting was held in Bali, Indonesia in 2023. The following year we had it in Singapore and this time in Japan.

Our team currently consists of 10 members. Since the business is based in Indonesia, opportunities for all members—who usually work in Jakarta, Singapore, and Tokyo—to meet face-to-face are rare. For this reason, this annual offsite meeting plays a very important role in allowing everyone to meet

20th October: Welcome Dinner with members from Indonesia

The first team dinner was at Japanese style Izakaya in Tokyo.  This Izakaya serves local cuisine of Miyazaki prefecture which located in Kyushu Island.  We all enjoyed tasty beef (especially harami steak was great).  Alamport founder Kotani and co-founder Nishi used to come this place often when they were working at former investment firm

21st October: Group Session held in Tokyo

On this day, we had case studies on projects that Alamport has invested in and discussed about our future strategy. It was such a good opportunity to share details of how members composed and got involved in projects in the early days of Alamport’s begging.

22nd October: Moving to Yatsugatake

In the afternoon, we moved to Yatsugatake in Nagano.  In this session we primarily focused on the rooftop solar power business we have invested in.  This presentation was given not only by Kotani and Nishi but also by Jessica and Toku, BOD of the rooftop solar company.  Our rooftop solar business has recently made significant progress after receiving equity investment from Kanematsu Corporation. We will continue to build up the organizational structure, expand the team, and strive toward the goal of listing on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2028

On this day, we had dinner at Italian restaurant in Resonare Yatsugatake.  We had enjoyable time tasting various wines, selected by Toku, who is knowledgeable about Japanese wines.

23rd October: Second Day of Sessions in Yatsugatake

In the morning, we had “Knowing more about your team members” session.  Since we usually talk only about work, it was an excellent chance to learn about the members’ past and private lives.

In the afternoon, we all moved to a nice nearby cafe and then discussed Alamport’s values (our approach to work), and shared our own experiences

During the short break, I tried the grape ice cream. It was good!

It was a lovely cafe with a view of Mount Fuji.

The dinner was a surprise from founder Kotani at Otto Sette in Resonare Yatsugatake. Everyone was delighted by the unexpected surprise. It was a wonderful time with delicious wine and food

We also celebrated Alamport’s 10th anniversary with a cake

24th October: The Final Day

In the morning, for the team activity, we split into three teams to experience bread making. Each team baked breads with the theme of Alamport’s 10th anniversary

Team Hydro: Marcella, Teugeur and Kotani

Team Wind: Gayo, Haruhi and Nishi

Team Solar: Jessica, Stefan and Toku

It was everyone’s first time making bread, but we all worked together as a team and had a fulfilling time. Team Solar received a lovely present for winning!

Congrats team solar

The Alamport’s Offsite Meeting from October 20th to 24th concluded successfully

I felt that the opportunity to meet everyone and spend such quality time face-to-face may be limited as the team will surely grow in numbers over the next 10 years.

I will keep working hard until I can see everyone again next time.
