Alamport Group Invests and Enters Recycle Water Treatment Business in Indonesia

23rd Jul 2026

Alamport Renewables Pte. Ltd. (“AR”), a subsidiary of Alamport Inc. (“Alamport”) and jointly managed by Alamport and EnBio Holdings Inc. (“Enbio”), would like to announce the plan to establish a joint venture with NiX JAPAN Group (“NiX”) and PT Adika Tirta Daya (“ATD”), an Indonesian water treatment company. Together, the parties will establish a new joint venture company, PT Alam NiX Tirtadaya, to develop recycled water treatment and water supply businesses in Indonesia.

Through its subsidiaries, PT Alam NiX Tirtadaya will provide recycle water treatment services using a “Water as a Service (WaaS)” business model for commercial and industrial (C&I) customers. As part of its launch, the new company will take over 9 existing operational water recycling facilities, including high-profile sites such as the Mall of Indonesia and Lippo Mall Puri.

This business model combines ATD’s extensive track record in the water treatment business, including design, engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and operation and maintenance (O&M), with Alamport Group’s strong capabilities in business development, financial management, and project investment. By integrating these strengths, the joint venture offers a seamless, one-stop solution from technical design to financing. Under the WaaS model, customers are not required to pay any initial capital expenditure for equipment installation. Instead, they pay a recurring monthly fee based on the volume of recycled water consumed. This setup provides businesses with a reliable supply of recycled water while delivering potential cost savings compared to standard water utility tariffs.

Expected Project Structure Overview

Driven by rapid population growth and accelerating industrial development, Indonesia’s demand for water resources is rising significantly each year. At the same time, the government is tightening regulations on groundwater consumption, particularly in key industrial zones. Securing a stable supply of quality water has become a critical management priority for companies operating in these areas.

In response to this situation, PT Alam NiX Tirtadaya provides recycled water treatment systems that treat waste-water generated by factories and convert it back into usable industrial water. This enables business owners to reduce both their fresh water consumption and waste-water discharge, contributing to environmental conservation and supporting their corporate sustainability targets.

Statement from Alamport Group Management: “While the Alamport Group has historically focused on developing renewable energy infrastructure in Indonesia, we are excited to expand our infrastructure portfolio into the vital sector of water management. By delivering solutions in both renewable energy and sustainable water resources, we aim to accelerate Indonesia’s transition toward a decarbonized, circular economy while establishing long-term social infrastructure that connects Japan and Indonesia.”
